We have hosted exchange students for 6 years now. since I found this book, it has been a welcome present for every young lady who I welcome into our family as we live i the middle of this area. The girls love to see all these places that they have seen in their book.
A lovely coffee table picture book of my home area.
Gave it to a friend who needed some love and she was so happy about it.
I wrote the Foreword for this first-rate work, so I am of course biased. That said, I thought I would recommend it anyway.My publisher ultimately decided that photos would not be suitable for my book, "Buzzards Bay: A Journey of Discovery." So when Bob's book came along shortly after my own, it was indeed a pleasant surprise. His photographs really take me to Buzzards Bay. I flip through my copy of "South Coast" all the time, especially on those dreary winter days when I can only fantasize about casting for stripers in a silent green cove or watching catboats emerge from the morning mists.
A wonderfully photographed book that shows the spirit of the South Coast of MA. It takes a tour of the South Coast that only someone with a true understanding of this area could photograph so well. Beautiful!
